What we do
We translate fabric labels, garment construction, and relevant research into practical buying guidance. Cotton is our current entry point because it is familiar, widely available, and easy to verify by percentage. We may expand into linen, wool, hemp, and other natural fibers when we can cover them accurately.
How products are selected
A featured find should have a clear material label, verifiable condition, recognizable construction, and an honest description. For underwear resale, we prefer new sealed packaging. We do not remove another company’s branding or imply that branded resale inventory is our private-label product.
How claims are reviewed
- Material percentages should come from the packaging, label, or reliable product documentation.
- Comfort is described as preference and garment behavior, not a guaranteed outcome.
- Health-adjacent statements should be conservative, sourced, and explicit about uncertainty.
- Observational research is not presented as proof of causation.
- Persistent medical symptoms belong with a qualified clinician, not an underwear guide.
How we use links
Some pages link to current resale listings on eBay. Those links are clearly identified. The marketplace controls checkout, current price, shipping, returns, size availability, and seller terms. A product may sell out or change after a page is updated.
If affiliate tracking is ever added, it will be disclosed. A commission would not change the material facts we report or the standards used to select a find.
Images and product identity
Editorial cotton and textile images are labeled or described as illustrative when they are not photographs of the actual item. Buyers should use the marketplace listing for real product photos and current packaging details.
Corrections and updates
Pages include publication or update dates where useful. Material, inventory, and research details are corrected when new evidence or verified product information becomes available. The current eBay listing remains the final source for transaction details.
What we are not
Natural Fiber Basics is not a medical provider and does not promise fertility, hormone, detox, dermatology, or microplastic outcomes. It is also not affiliated with Banana Republic or other brands that may appear in independent resale finds.
